"It’s a high volume hotel that needs a refresher - it had a distinct and not very pleasant smell- it was overall distasteful. The floors in the room had some sort of cleaning product which made them slippery and feel waxed and sticky. I hate to be negative but for the price - was not really a value."

"Let me start off by saying I’ve stayed in budget motels before and wasn’t expecting anything remotely extravagant. With that said, this was the dirtiest, poorly kept place I almost stayed in. It was so bad we left within 20 mins of arriving. There were what looked like bed bug stains in the sheet (aside from other dark markings), the “nonsmoking” room reeked of smoke and had a plastic bag over the smoke detector… and you can tell it had never been vacuumed before. There were crunchy things allll over the floor. The room looked straight out of a true crime documentary. And this is all what I could see just walking in. There were gnats flying around in the 50-something degree weather and the water damage around the door/windows were extensive. I was in such disbelief at the condition that after driving 6+ hours - arriving just before midnight - we left immediately and checked into a local hotel instead. I returned the key the following morning, no one was at the desk — said hello several times, before someone who looked like they were napping came out and told me to leave the key. The stay was originally from Friday-Monday, and we returned the key before 11 am the following day (Sat)."

"Great location, right off the highway. Close to many attractions. The hotel itself is very dated and in need of major work and updating. The mattress was lumpy, towels were very rough and old, rug was dirty in the room and in the hallway. The side door to enter the building was unsecured and could be opened without a key. Front staff was pleasant and friendly."

"Nice location and affordable compared to other hotels in the area. The bathroom needs an uplift - loose handle bars and the small (round) potty instead of the elongated, comfortable one. Convenient location, not far from waterfront and museum."
