I never stayed at a resort before so this was a leaning experience more than a fun weekend retreat. Cashless. Cards only. The cocoa bean... Just a star bucks. Even though I had a room still had to pay for parking. The water attraction wasn't included. It's a separate cost. It was booked out. I came with the intention to be spontaneous and that was my biggest mistake. Getting on site and off site wasn't exactly a breeze. This place has 3 enormous atriums. They are spectacular. However these greenhouses are at the expense of simple walk ways through our the facility. Even outside it's not easy to navigate the grounds. The rooms were pleasant. Bathroom didn't have a loud exhaust fan or any white noise. My roommates were able to hear my number 2. Had I been more knowledgeable of resorts and the endless fees and prior booking of activities my stay would have been more enjoyable. Going into it blind and spontaneous I was reduced to walking around the atrium and overpaying to watch a movie in my room. So pretty much my fault but hopefully this saves someone else a headache.

Just about everything was great EXCEPT.. at check-in I had a lavender YETI cup with my initials on it and I left it at front desk accidentally … got to room realized I didnt have it and went right back down to concierge and asked them about it and the young lady that checked us in was no longer there and I asked if they had seen my cup gave them exact description of it and no one had seen it … I mean really ??? Come on people … it was a 45oz rambler yeti cup with straw lavender and had my initials on it why would someone want to take a cup that doesn’t have their initials on it turned in a lost an found form and haven’t heard back really disappointing. So many dishonest people in the world and thieves.

Clean and well appointed rooms. Large property with lots of interior areas for relaxation. Request a room close to any on-site event or conference or be prepared for a lot of walking.

Stayed for 2 nights with my husband. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was accommodating. The room was smaller than I expected and they were going to charge $85 a nite for a balcony room that oversees the inside garden/waterfall. The room was over $400 a nite, so we didn’t opt to get balcony room. They also charge $37 a day for self parking. Beautiful hotel and would recommend it, but with the warning to be prepared to spend a lot of $$$
