Amazing spot, amazing location!!

This was the perfect spot for our girls trips! The place looks even better in person and was perfect for our party of 4. We had plenty of space, it was clean, and we appreciated having the basics taken care of (shampoo, conditioner, coffee). The location was also perfect. We spent the day at the Country Club pool and ate at some amazing neighborhood spots (Markey’s crawfish boil and Bacchanal were highlights). We generally preferred Bywater over the vibes of the French Quarter. I would absolutely recommend this place and can’t wait to return!!

Spring 2024

Our family spent a Spring week at this lovely home. The surrounding Bywater neighborhood & the people we met there were great. Daniel, the homeowner, was terrific. I really appreciated the timely responses to our questions. And his list of recommendations to nearby spots was great too. Very highly recommended!!

Location, location, location!

If you enjoy the experience of a residential urban area, this is IT! Bywater is such an amazing community, and the access to coffee shops, eateries, public spaces, etc. is great. And of course, all of the amazing residential architecture - you could spend all day just exploring the surrounding blocks. But with the rest of New Orleans at your fingertips, getting everywhere else is incredibly easy. We had a great stay and would definitely consider a return visit.

Great location in the Bywater

This property is located in the heart of the Bywater. The owners are friendly and helpful. They were very responsive to our questions. I didn't realize that there is not a hallway in the house so you have to walk thru each bedroom to get to the back of the kitchen ...a true shot gun house. As we were staying with friends, this was a little odd, but luckily we are BEST friends, so it was humorous for a weekend stay. Great backyard space.

Holiday Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. We felt comfortable and welcomed from the start. Our kids and us had space to spread out and the home is just a short drive away from everything we wanted to do.

Great location, great property

This house was perfect for our family of four. My husband and I and my two adult girls stayed three nights. We have friends in the neighborhood so it was convenient to visit them. The Bywater district is its own eclectic neighborhood, but only a ten minute drive to the French Quarter. We enjoyed neighborhood coffee shops and restaurants, including The Country Club right across the street. All of the beds were so comfortable! We loved the original character of the house including the high ceilings and claw foot tub. Upon arriving, everything was extremely clean. We had no issues with entering and getting settled in. I would highly recommend this property if you want to experience a cool New Orleans neighborhood while still being close enough to drive to the more touristy areas.

Girl's Trip

Charming Character

This place was adorable and filled with so much character. All the little things and amenities that we needed. The neighborhood was quiet, the AC was perfect, plenty of room for everyone to sprawl out. We looooove the neighborhood and being across the street from the Country Club provided great people watching. It is a bit of a stroll to the quarters, but that didn't bother us. Uber was always 3 minutes away for about $15 each way into the quarter for an Uber XL. The host communicated in such a fast manner, especially when the VRBO app was not working and I couldn't access the entry code. My one suggestion of the entire place would be to figure out the water pressure for the kitchen sink. It was very slow, but we were able to wash our dishes...Just used to a much quicker flow. Overall, loved this place and would stay again.

Great stay!

A group of friends and I stayed here for a long weekend, and we loved it! The property was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed being able to walk across the street to use the pool. It was very close to everything we needed to do and wanted to see.

Best of Bywater

Had a great stay, but who doesn't in New Orleans! The home is beautiful and I LOVED the hardwood floors, beds were super comfy! The owners were easy to get hold of and we would defiantly stay here again!

Quick stay, perfect spot!

This was my 3rd time in NOLA. Another great spot to stay. The location is really great and plenty of places to eat around within 2-3 min walk. We stayed for two nights and it was just what we needed for our stay. We had our two kids and our dog. There’s a park right up around the corner where our dog was able to do her business and stretch her legs. We Uber’d to the French Quarter for dinner and it took us 3-5 minutes to get there. But, if we were to stay longer there was a pizza place the next street up we would’ve loved to try but it was closed the full day we were there. Thank you Dan, for great communication and a wonderful and accommodating place to stay!

Fantastic place

Loved it! Everything about the neighborhood is charming and great sites and food all within walking distance. Bus right on the corner made getting everywhere a breeze, plus plentiful Lyfts. We ate most breakfasts at Alma a block away. A must. Dan was a terrific host, filled with great local recommendations.

Great Bywater house with a ton of space!

We had an awesome 3 night stay at this property — about a 30 minute walk to destinations in the French Quarter, and the Bywater neighborhood itself was cool to explore. The inside of the house was huge with plenty of room for our family of 4, plus a stocked kitchen, and a lovely backyard to relax. Highly recommend!

We simply love staying at this house. It has such New Orleans charm, lots of space and beautiful greenery outside every window. We ride bikes everywhere. The dog is welcome too.
