After driving 5 hours I realized i misplaced my ID and figure sunce i have stayed in the same motel before that they might take my reservation and online receipt and confirmation. I was wrong. I almost missed my son's surgery trying to deal with the Indian clerk on the desk. Didn't even check for my name or reservation on his computer. He simply told me he cant give me my door key to the room i already paid for the night. When my husband finally came to the front door he somehow was able to talk and pay for additonal $50 just to get a key. Even though the room was already paid for.

Specifically we chose this for laundry room- which was broken all 3 nights. Also for proximity to city centre- it cost $** each way for an Uber and was nowhere near the centre as it was described. No maid svc. despite requesting daily. Breakfast very poor. Thin towels but as shower was a weak flow, and dangling from wall, maybe for the best. It was gloomy- no outside window or vanity curtain so drapes had to be kept shut. Frog swimming in pool. Insult to injury was being charged $90 more than had been agreed. Told to contact Expedia- we already had- they passed our complaint to hotel- who did nothing. Asked repeatedly to speak to manager - who was consistently absent. Poor staff Disgusting hotel. Expedia- respond!!

My stay was for ten days. Since this is basically a budget hotel you can't expect the facilities of a more expensive hotel. Hotel was clean, friendly staff, daily breakfast, good location. I'm very satisfied for what I received for the amount of money I paid.

Roaches roaches roaches. Don't believe any of the reviews that say it is clean! There is permanent dirt ground into the light switches. We saw two roaches upon walking into the room climbing up the walls! Hard no.

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The only positives were that they had beds to sleep in and the receptionist was a nice woman. However, the neighborhood and cleanliness left much to be desired. There was an odd smell throughout the entire place, from the entrance to the room. I even found a cockroach behind the desk. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. The Hotel room was OLD, MUSTY and DIRTY from years of unsanitary cleaning. I found a roach and dirty sheets in mine. It is located in an area filled with DRUG ADDICTS and PROSTITUTES. VERY UNSAFE. I noticed I was charged $50 for smoking on my credit card and I DO NOT EVEN SMOKE. BE CAREFUL of this hotel, They PREY on people from out town and will SCAM you.

Older hotel, could use updating. TIny towels in the bathrooms along with a damp smell when we first arrived but otherwise clean. Seemed understaffed as i waited about 15 minutes for someone to arrive at the counter along with a few people trying to check out. Cheap, everything basic was there, area isnt too kid friendly or convenient for food and i wouldnt recommend walking around but you aren't far from downtown and all the attractions which was a plus.

It was spacious and clean breakfast could have been better with just a little meat. Overall this was a very good location for the price. Staff was nice and pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Had asked 3x to have rooms that conjoined, the 3rd time they said they had it all taken care of, when we got there they in fact did not. After a 12 hour drive we had to waiy another hour foe them to clean a room to be conjoined. Place was dirty, my son got a piece if glass stuck in his foot, my son and daughter both got scrapes on their feet from the pool, literally in the highest crime part of town, and breakfast was trash.

Perfect place as base for exploring New Orleans. It is close enough to be convenient yet very economical. It’s in an industrial area so it’s not a place you can explore on foot. It is on the bus line and I had minimal trouble getting an Uber. The property is secure and especially the vehicle lot. I loved the staff who were the same each day. It’s clean although under the bed could have used some attention. The property is old and you can see it must have been almost grand in its glory days. I liked it. Money was the biggest factor on this trip. There is a little store next door for necessities. There are places to eat within driving distance.
