“Our stay at Harmony Ridge was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious, the beds firm and comfortable. We loved the jetted tub and the porch leading to a forested area was great to walk around and explore. The breakfast was tasty and the staff very friendly. Would easily stay here again!”

“The room was filthy. I have stayed in many Best Westerns across the country, traveling with my dogs, and have never stayed in a hotel room that dirty. I was not traveling with pups, so I did not ask for an animal room. The bathroom tile was filthy, as was the carpet; no bare feet in the room. When we were unloading the car one of the employees parked his cart at the bottom of the stairs to our room and puffed on a cigarettte. “The room itself was clean and comfortable. The clerk that registered me was excellent. The problem I had was the TV was basically unusable. The remote was broken and I had trouble turning it on. I somehow got it on, but the volume control did not work. The sound was so low, it disappeared whenever the AC kicked in. The clerk that I mentioned the problem to when I checked out just said sorry and acknowledged that room had a problem. No offer to discount my room or anything, just sorry. That is……

“The Gold Miner's Inn is very clean and nicely decorated. The rooms have plenty of room and a comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and they offer water for your room as well as a nightly glass of wine downstairs in the main entry room. The breakfast was okay, especially take and go items, but the hash browns were soggy and the oatmeal had not been turned on to cook. The walls clearly have no insulation as you can hear everything outside the building and every word your neighbor says. Our……
