“it is a nice hotel for a one night stop if you're waiting for a flight or to catch a cruise ship. the staff was pretty nice, but we had asked for a taxi to the airport and she told me an hour and a half was plenty of time to allow. unfortunately our driver got hung up in a traffic jam, she ended up scrambling to get another taxi and we barely made our flight. even though the airport is close, allow plenty of time for unseen delays. it was a stressful start to our vacation. breakfast was……

“The hotel is beautiful. Great views and private beach is a huge plus. Very close to the airport. Free parking is also very attractive. The staff is super friendly and competent. Overall I recommend the hotel. Be careful with one thing. when you pay they add 5% for total stay and 15% for consumption at hotel that is not mandatory and is described as employee benefits. In my case it was about 200 Euros I declined to pay.”

“Hotel Regina Elena was the perfect place to begin our Sardinia trip. The location was excellent and made it easy to explore Olbia on foot. “There was nobody at the property, the check-in was done online and instructions sent to my by email. There was no elevator, so if you have big bags or a pushchair - that will be a problem. Property was easy to find (we went by taxi) but be aware it is near the train station. Amenities were good, the only frustration was that the keypad to allow access into our room was very sensitive and there was a delay on it - so we struggled for 10 -15 minutes to get into our room. This was frustrating……
