“We had a very nice stay at The Guides House and would not hesitate to book there again. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond when we reached out to him. The house was both clean and comfortable. We did have a little trouble with the lockbox but with a little perseverance were able to get it to work. A very positive experience. ”

“The property is on a beautiful spot on 4h lake and close to town so you can walk to just about everything. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. Sadly, the property has fallen into disrepair since our last visit 13 years ago. The window screens all had holes in them, the floor was sandy and not clean, there was no hot water and even the bathroom hot water faucet had no water coming out of it. The medicine chest was broken. The place needs a real overhaul and much attention to detail.……
