"Terrible stay. The room smelled awful, and the floor was sticky and dirty. Definitely not a clean or comfortable place to stay. I would not recommend it."

"Carpets throughout were stained, sheers in room were torn and room very tired. Clean but in need up updating. Disappointing overall for the price of the room. Hotel is close to Duke and we did find a great place to eat. Try Local 22 Kitchen & Bar. Very good restaurant, reasonably priced nice atmosphere. Would have chosen a different hotel if condition was known ahead of time. "

"The area was ok, the staff did their job and the room was just ok. Bathroom had a sliding door so it did not shut completely. I didn’t care for that at all. As far as coming and going it was convenient."

"Bullet proof glass at lobby says it all, then add no non-smoking rooms and possibly rented by the hour accommodations. It felt like a movie set."

"It’s a place to stay when others are way over priced or unavailable. We paid over $350 a night during Duke graduation weekend, and it’s definitely not a $350 a night hotel….maybe $120. But it’s clean."
