“3 nights in July for our anniversary, booked on Expedia, upgraded from a junior suite to an apartment. Rooms and staff are the real draw. Dining, especially over Shabbat, is where it stumbles. 4/5. The Good: Staff were wonderful, Sam especially. The spa was closed for renovation (we only learned on arrival), so no anniversary massage on-site. Instead of shrugging, Yiannis rang nearby resorts, found us availability at the Azia at a good price, and it was one of the best massages we've had. They……

“There are essentially two very different hotels linked in the same large complex marketed with different names. This part was quiet, with a lovely large pool, a nice clean apartment in small white washed blocks with comfortable beds and terrace. The staff was particularly helpful and Vasilis in particular was excellent. If you want you can also access the holiday ‘fishing’ village part adjacent with its large lagoon pool and water park for kids - which is marketed as a different hotel and……

“The hotel is located on a beautiful part of the island and the highlight was the private seating by the beach bar. Very peaceful and scenic. The food was not great. The Zatar restaurant was the exception and was an excellent dinner. The shades in the rooms are not darkening at all. It feels like you are sleeping outside once the sun is up. Also we switched to a sea facing room bc the traffic on the city view side kept us up. The kids did enjoy the slides and the entertainment.”

“Returned here after 21 years and it is still as brilliant as then. (Same ownership). Lots of amenities, beautiful pool, several catering options, lovely food and super-helpful staff. Fronts the beach (which is rocky and not hugely attractive) and a short walk to the local village. Less than 30 minutes from Paphos airport.”

“Es gab keinen Zimmerservice, schon bei der Ankunft war das Zimmer nicht sauber und die Betten nicht bezogen. Das ging so weiter 10 Tage lang wurde das Zimmer nicht gereinigt und nur sporadisch wurden Handtücher gewechselt. Zum Frühstück gab es kein Frühstücksbuffet wie gebucht sondern 10 x identisch das Gleiche. Die ersten Tage war zudem das Wasser nur lauwarm. Das Hotel kann nicht empfohlen werden.”
