It is kept very clean in all areas thanks to a dedicated staff. The front desk people were courteous, the room was cleaned and fixed up daily, the breakfast was pretty good and in a nice area. We felt it was a convenient location, although the traffic on Rt.17 is difficult. It made a sound when I stepped there and I was a bit worried about possible collapse. The blackout curtains were excellent in keeping light out of the room and the lighting was done really well. I loved the penlights under the lamps on either side of the bed. The bath was spacious with ample towels and the soap was changed daily. Fine work by the cleaning staff. The hotel itself seemed in need of a bit of renovation in the hallways. There was ample parking but some spaces on the front side were not accessible at check in due for longer vehicles due to the pileup of snow. A bit more removal could have been done in that area. There wasn't any problem with noise and I was able to sleep well. The bed had four pillows which I really appreciated as I tend to use a lot of them when sleeping. We happen to find a bunch of hair all around the bathroom and in the bed itself on the sheets. I’m not a super clean freak. But it just simply looked like the sheets didn’t get changed at all. Spoke with staff and they didn’t have the option to get new sheets. So we tried a different room. And the new room was exactly the same situation. I know with lower budget hotels. I guess you can’t expect the best. But we ended up finding some thing two times nicer and cleaner that was only $50 more.
