“My son spent a very comfortable week in August in this studio apartment.in the Bankers Hill neighborhood of San Diego. The building has stunning views of San Diego Bay, and everything is accessible to it -- downtown, Balboa Park, Little Italy, San Diego International Airport and more. The apartment is in an elegant old building -- maybe the mansion of a former mayor. The home isn't far from the flight path for planes landing (and sometimes taking off) SAN. But my son said he didn't notice it --……

“We had a few of our employees stay here for the week while working out of town. We couldn’t ask for anything better from the host to the accommodation. When we’re back in town for work we plan on staying here again!”

“Perfect for our group of 4, and great location- lovely neighborhood, convenient to zoo and Seaworld. Nice to have a parking spot and laundry. Parking spot is narrow and sloped but I was able to park a Toyota Sienna there. Place is clean and well-stocked.”

“Quaint place to stay - it was exactly what we needed and the property manager was responsive and patient when I couldn't figure out the lock to checkin. Close to a grocery store and some excellent restaurants. Recommend bringing ear plugs since the roadway can be loud. ”

“This is a beautiful and historic mansion very close to Balboa Park and museums, the zoo, old town Gaslamp quarter, airport, and cruise ship terminal. There is free parking at Balboa and free trolleys that go from the park to the Gaslamp district and throughout the city where you can hop on and off to sightsee. The stay at The Carriage House is in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood with little traffic. The upper story of the house has 3 large bedrooms and the second bathroom with ceiling fans and……

“We came to San Diego Daft Christmas with our son… Who lives in San Diego.The house was perfect for our needs. The location was fantastic. Communication and check-in/check out was seamless. I really appreciated the warmth and immediate feedback I received from the host. There were no concerns at our stay at all. It was delightful to be one block away from Little Italy. Area is clean and many restaurants within walking distance. Bets were super comfortable.”

“Neat and clean older house. Great location. Ideal for a couple, but a bit small for more than that - one bathroom. ”

“We pulled up to this place and immediately started crying! The picture advertised were nothing compared to what we saw when we arrive . We never checked in. We immediately turned around and began looking for another place to stay which you can imagine was very horrific being a holiday weekend thank God we found something at the Doubletree hotel they had 2 rooms left. My family of seven shared these two rooms and we were so happy. There was no way we could stay at this property. We have photos……
