Walk right out to the slopes

Posted Mar 26, 2017
Pros: close to slopes and food
Cons: bed and shower, evening staffing level
This hotel is a very short walk from the slopes, and there are several basic little restaurants and shops in the surrounding plaza, so you don't have to go into town for everything! When we arrived (around 5:30pm), there was only a sign at the front desk saying they had to step away and someone would be back soon, and I waited for QUITE a while before anyone appeared! Checkout was fast though. The building is definitely on the older side, but almost everything in our room appeared to be updated or renovated except the shower. Everything was in great condition and the room had nice rustic but modern décor, and plenty of counter space in the vanity area. A free shuttle into downtown is available, and we loved that the hotel parking is a covered garage.

Nice close to the ski lifts

Posted Mar 16, 2017
Pros: Close to the ski lifts
Cons: Room needs to be updated badly.
Room had food on the floor when we checked in, standing water on the balcony, 3' x 3' picture hung by two small nails in the drywall fell on my toe, the rooms TV was literally 15", room was very small. The ski season was almost over and they still picked spring break to start re-painting the hallways?!?!? Got paint on my snowboard bag, strong odor of paint in the hotel.

Thank you for taking the time and letting us know about your most recent stay at the Lodge at the Mountain Village. I will make sure to pass on your comments to the appropriate departments. As for the painting I will inform the HOA as this is not done by the property managment company. Thanks again,

Location is the only plus

Posted Mar 16, 2017
Room was very outdated, not cleaned properly, very large picture not hung properly and fell on my foot, balcony had two inches of standing water the entire stay, they were painting the hallways, not sure why they could not wait one more month for the season to be over and not paint during spring break!?!?! Asked for adjoining rooms did not get it even though the room next to mine was not used until the second to last day of my stay.

Excellent price for ski-in ski-out.

Posted Mar 12, 2017
Pros: Location, price.
Cons: Update the 35 year old rooms.
Location: Right on the slopes, ski-in, ski-out. Very convenient. However, the only thing to do was ski. There is absolutely no night life.
The location is fantastic, the price is excellent, but the facilities are old (1980's). Given the rate, I would easily stay again when taking my family to the slopes. However, if you're looking for night life and luxury, choose another resort. It was *DEAD* in PC after 6 o'clock.

Good location but very tired

Posted Mar 10, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Standard of the room - make it feel like a four star room rather than a youth hostel
Very good ski-in and ski-out location but the room was very tired and really needs updating. The bedding was on its last legs and I do not know hw this accomodation is rated as four star It is only just three star The Mountain Village is in a great position for the ski slopes and easy access to Park City Main Street via the convenient free bus service The staff were generally very helpful and pleasant Because of the quality of the room in its present state I would not be able to recommend the Lodge to family or friends

Great location. Room needs upgrades.

Posted Mar 9, 2017
Pros: Loved the location to the Park City Mountain Village ski slopes. Liked that it has kitchenettes.
Cons: Carpet, couches, sinks, faucets, fix closet door, new decor in the room.
Location: Easy access to public bus transportation into Park City. Great restaurants and fun shopping in Park City.
We had stayed at the Lodge about 12 years ago and remembered how we loved the location. Great proximity to ski chairlifts and slopes at Park City Mountain Ski Resort. This room was very similar with location, and perfect to be on the first floor near the exit to ski slopes. The room seemed clean, but the furnishings and finishes of our room need to be updated. There was a good-size stain in the carpet; couch was old, and the pictures on walls and extra decor were old. Looked like newer appliances and countertops, and maybe even new floor tile in the bathroom, but the bathroom faucet was old and hard to operate. The closet door in the main room was metal bifold and was stuck in the open position. We had little interaction with the staff, but they seemed friendly and were offering fresh baked cookies each afternoon when we would walk by.

Goegous 2 story Mountain Village condo!

Posted Mar 8, 2017
Fabulous stay in the Mountain village celebrating birthdays in Park City. Many thanks to Ericka at the front desk who treated us truly amazing! Our two story condo was truly spectacular and both sons loved their man cave upstairs! The free shuttle to town was an added bonus.

Great location near the slopes

Posted Mar 6, 2017
Great location near to the slopes - good size room and well furnished and fitted for skiers. Rest of hotel surroundings are a little dated and not as well kept as room - functional.

DO NOT STAY!!!! ROOM 253

Posted Feb 27, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything!
Location: Walk to skiing and ski school.
I booked a two bedroom deluxe condo and was beyond disappointed with our room. The pictures online are so misleading. The entire condo was outdated, old carpet - the carpet was wrapped up the wall as "baseboards". Dirty comforter with bloody stain. The master shower did not work for the first three days of our and one of the two sinks in the master barely worked even after maintenance came up. No washer and dryer. I called down to the front desk at 7:15 am to request that someone comes up to fix our fireplace and an employee came right up but could not fix it so he told me maintenance comes in at 8 and someone would be right up. We came back to our room around 1 and fireplace still did not work. I called down and the girl at the front desk said she would send someone up again. Ten minutes later maintenance came and fixed it, very polite nice man. Next few minutes doorbell again - this time girl at the front desk wanted to see the comforter with the bloody stain. She proceeded to tell me that the place is a s***hole and I should be happy with my room because most of them are worse than ours! I told her the maintenance guy did come and fix fireplace and was very polite she said thanks and left. Five minutes later another doorbell ring, maintenance man back at my door asking why I said he was not nice and that I complained about him? I then had to defend myself that I did not say that and I called then called the girl at the front desk in front of him to prove I did not say that

Good location but not a lot more going for it

Posted Feb 23, 2017
Pros: The location at the mountainside was good and it was handy for the free bus service.
Cons: Focus on raising the standard of decor and facilities within the apartment.
We booked a studio apartment which based on the Lodge's own website looked to have a fair amount of space but the reality was very different. The apartment we had was significantly smaller and we felt we had been mislead. It is also clear that while the lodge management provide an overall service there doesn't appear to be any attention to the overall standard of the apartments and ours was very tired. Overall, it was expensive for the week and not what we would call good value for money.

Thank you for sharing your comments with us. The individual owners to control the decor of their units. We do however sell updated accomadaitons for owners that have gone through rennovations. Thanks again,
