“We had an amazing 3 nights at the Swan. From the time we arrived to when we left the service was excellent. We were offered a drink from the bar when we arrived and on departure a coffee for the journey, never have we had this while staying in a pub! All the staff were friendly and very helpful, offering to help with our bags and any other needs we had. Our room, The Dolebury, was in an annex set aside from the actual pub and was beautiful and very clean. Complimentary water, tea and coffee and……

“Apart from the damp toilet and the lack of shampoo and conditioner, everything is fine. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included for a fee, which is nice as I was attending a conference at the university and there aren't that many food choices on campus. “From check in through to check out the staff were very good. Breakfast was excellent and our room was comfy, quiet and had all the amenities that you would expect. The hotel was perfect for our stay and provided ample free parking which gave us a good base for our few days in Bath. It is halfway up a hill which was not a problem for us but for others not keen on walking up hill then be prepared to get a taxi or bus back from the town centre. ”

“We stayed in the hotel during the heat wave, so without the AC the room was quite warm, however manageable. Please mind the old style stairs in the building, may be challenging with heavy luggage. Otherwise the place was excellent for us. The breakfast is the best!”
