“We found out quite late we have no hot water. We called the staff who said they'll see what can be done and call us right back. They never called. I the morning, when we asked again for the water to be repaired, they tried a few things and said they should be OK in about 10 minutes. We waited 30. Nothing happened, so we gave up. Also, the closet door was missing a screw and the door came apart. ”

“A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. ”

“Stunning hotel with amazing pool and jacuzzi area and fabulous outdoor space for sunbathing.Shuttle service to nearby Hensol castle for gin distillery tour/afternoon tea. If you prebook dinner option, you will get 3course menu, otherwise it’s only ala carte on the day. Breakfast is excellent and weather permitting you can sit outside on the terrace with the view of the golf course.The only downside is, that it is in the middle of nowhere and you can eat only in the 1 restaurant as there’s……

Breakfast was perfect and the shared living space (with breathtaking Brecon Beacon views) was so comfortable that H enjoyed posting up there for work. Would love to return for a longer (than 2 night) visit and check out more of the hundreds of nearby hikes. ”
