“Check in was extremely easy! The hosts messaged us the day before about weather warnings and road closures as we drove up in the snow. Luckily the weather changes during the week and we had beautiful sunshine and opportunities to use the garden space. Great location- canyoning at the falls in keltneyburn at the top of the street was a highlight and the smithy’s located behind the house was a stunning keepsake. “Extremely peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Accommodation spotless, comfortable and cosy. Everything you have at home was available in the chalet, including extra tea/coffee, sugar and a carton of milk. Nothing left to chance and the small touches - like a gift of two mugs, pens and stationery - greatly appreciated. Hosts very communicative and kept in touch throughout our stay. The main building is very family orientated, with a restaurant and bar, and facilities for children, although we didn't……

“We had a lovely stay here. The property was well equipped and beautifully presented. The house was clean and comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful it truly felt like we were the only people in the area. The local area is well worth exploring on foot, many birds and small animals to be seen not to mention beautiful scenery. It was lovely to be able to see the stars at night and admire the darkness. We would love to stay again and highly recommend this property. The communication was excellent……

“This house is an absolute gem and I will definitely book again, when in the area. If you are considering this house, don’t hesitate you will enjoy the quiet location, off street parking, and the views.The house itself is decorated nicely, the underfloor heating is fabulous, the large kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed sitting at the farmhouse table, watching the wildlife outside the patio doors. “Had a wonderful stay, house is in the perfect location. Great wee pub around the corner! House is quirky but everything you would need. Hot tub was a great bonus especially as some of the party had just walked 54 miles in the Cateran Yomp👣. Would definitely book this property again.”

“The house is aiming to be "luxury" but the quality is very basic. Doors were broken, mould in some corners, the "welcome basket" they had mentioned several times only contained the very minimal such as a few dish washer tablets, some tea bags and coffee...which is pretty much standard in Scotland anyways. I didn't like that you enter the house through the patio door and stand immediately in the middle of the kitchen/living room with no means to hang up coats and store shoes. The view is nice, I……
