This is our first time staying in the Pleasanton area, and we're lodging at the Courtyard by Marriott for my teen daughter's water polo program.
Our family always looks for a good value hotel that fits our budget. And we can say that the Courtyard is a good deal for the price you pay. You get your money's worth. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful, which added to our positive first impression. We encountered a slight issue with our room's lock, but a maintenance worker arrived within five minutes of us reporting the problem.
Initially, I had booked a king-sized bed for my daughter and me, but my daughter was a bit disappointed after we got to the room. However, the front desk staff accommodated our request quickly, and we could switch to a new room with two beds. Additionally, I requested a late checkout since our flight back to Chicago isn't until after 11 pm, and the staff was more than willing to put in a request for us.
The manager was helping the front staff during our room change request and when the maintenance person came to fix our lock.
So far, our experience has been very positive, and we feel very much at home in our two separate beds. ;-)
One thing I would suggest is to have few couple of decorative items such as paintings, dry flowers, etc. - just couple.
