  • The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space.This 100 year old 4 square home was previously a dentist office to a local dentist for many years. Located in the historical district of Main Street; this property is within 2 blocks of the world’s only Mothman Museum. Shops,restaurants, River Museum,flood wall murals showing the history of Point Pleasant and the river front and Tu-Endie-Wei parks are also some of the attractions within walking distance of the property.

    The living room.kitchen,full bathroom,1/2 bathroom, master bedroom, bedroom with full size bed, and bedroom with 2 twin beds.
    Other things to note
    Guests will enter thru the Black door with letter A to access the downstairs rental A. Off street parking beside the residence is available for up to 2 average size vehicles as well as on street parking in spaces marked along Main Street.

It is an older house but it’s cute and cozy. It’s also very clean. Located right on the main street of this small town. It is small and the only negative is that the kitchen could use some updating. It’s fine for a one night stay but if you’re going to stay for longer and are thinking about cooking and eating there, things would be quite tight.

The photos on VRBO radically undersell this property! The owners have done an amazing and adorable job decorating, making the whole property feel cozy, fun, and super clean. The location im Historic Point Pleasant was incredibly convenient and we had a great time! We can't wait to stay again. 10/10, no notes.

We were so pleasantly surprised with the Mothman theming throughout the house. We came for 2 nights for my nephew's graduation/18th bday trip and the house is so charming! The small decor touches, the multiple soft blankets to use, abundance of towels, and sweet basket of water and snacks made us feel welcome. We watched Mothman Prophecies and had no issues with the wifi or door locks. We could easily walk to the shops on Main Street and I took a run on the river trail which was beautiful!Also the merch was great! We got a couple items.I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone coming to Point Pleasant!

The home is just blocks from downtown and walking is easy. It is well furnished, all beds were very comfortable, and a GREAT front porch to sit on. It has a bath and half and the bathroom was excellent with a stand alone shower and a claw foot bath tub as well. Parking was easy and the kitchen area is very nice. It has a poster with the interesting accounts of the home. Pictures and posts of old signs and everything Mothman was there. A fun, neat, and well taken care of home. Comfortable.

The rental is in a perfect location - walking distance to the Mothman Museum and other attractions and shopping. The host is welcoming but hands off. The place is a little drafty but they've provided plenty of blankets to keep you cozy.

This property was absolutely a mothman cultists dream in such an accessible area of Point Pleasant. I couldn't walk anywhere in the house without giggling in glee over how immaculately they decorated the whole house. I believe by the time I left, I counted 87 mothman decorations throughout the whole place. The house was incredibly cute with a lot of personality. The claw foot tub was delightful and the huge king bed was incredibly comfortable. There were even offered treats that were a godsend after 4 hours I had travelled. Access was very easy, The etsy store inside the living room was a brilliant touch and I loved picking out some things to bring home. The whole stay was fabulous and I am already trying to decide when to come back.

Mothman Central!

We loved our stay at this property. Everything was great! Easy to find, great communication and the place was clean! If you are interested in the Mothman or Cryptids, this is the place! Lots of Mothman decor and history.

Family Road Trip

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect. Our kids enjoyed the Mothman theme and we spent the evening exploring the area. We had no issues and it was a perfect overnight stop for our trip. We are already making plans to return again.

Absolutely recommend this stay. Such a cozy/vintage vibe. The location is so beautiful! Beds are comfortable, bathroom was beautiful, and the kitchen was stocked with anything you need! I contacted the owner for directions to the TNT Mothman location and he responded right away. 10-10 Stay!

Beautiful Little Property with plenty of charm

We stopped in Point Pleasant for the Moth man stuff and really enjoyed this property SO close to everything. It was very clean and felt historical which was a nice change from the typical listings. I'd stay there again. Only possible issue was the front door was very hard to lock and unlock but we managed well enough.

Perfect

Our stay was amazing. The house was an amazing mixture of Mothman fandom and antiques. I loved both. All the beds were so comfortable. We felt so welcomed. Our hosts thought of evverything. We loved that they had a selection of mothman movies to watch and they even had a little corner in the home where we could purchase mothman merch! Such a great idea. Thank you for making everything so wonderful for us.

Mothman Birthday Trip

My daughter wanted to take a trip to Mothman territory for her 10th birthday. This location is easy walking distance to the museum and statue as well as the flood wall murals and state park. The house is charming with an interesting history as a decades-long dental office. It was the perfect stay for our little adventure. .

Adorable

My family and I absolutely loved this VRBO. If I was younger (I’m now retired) and needed an apartment, this is EXACTLY what I would be looking for. The bedroom with the pink accents was my favorite. Very clean, nice neighborhood, felt safe. Would definitely love to stay here again if I’m in the area. One thing….i am short, 5’ tall, perhaps a small stepping stool to get onto the beds would be a nice touch.

Such a lovely place. Quiet and peaceful.

We were in town attending a memorial for a local family member. The first floor rental was the perfect spot for our family. We had two other members of the family that were able to rent the second floor. We were able to see both rental units. Clean and what wonderful local art and history!The area was nice and quiet, the home charming. It was exactly what was needed, made us feel at home. We would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Also check out the MothMan Museum.
