Wow what an incredibly special place! It was all PERFECT! The communication (owners are wonderful!), the view, the location, the floor plan and all the thought the owners have put into everything available, the comfy beds truly a beach-lover’s and bird-lover’s paradise! We had so much fun down on the beach, and we saw some amazing birds by going to High Island, Bolivar Flats, and Galveston! While drinking coffee in the morning on the balcony, we saw dolphins, ospreys diving and hunting fish, pelicans, gulls, terns, willets, curlews, and sanderlings! Our family made wonderful memories, and I got some amazing photos of birds! You will be SO pleased if you book The Crystal Wave! Book with no hesitation, and then get ready to RELAX and SOAK it all in! We can’t wait to come back soon! Thank you for sharing your place with us!!

From the outside the property does look that great but they are working on it. Inside it's nice and very clean and they have thought of everything you could need for your stay from the beach toys to towels, spices, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic 4th!

Excellent location, front row to the beach with an easy stroll. Communication and check-in/check-out was clear and simple. The house was clean, set up very well, stocked with thoughtful amenities and my family had a wonderful, peaceful 4th of July.

The House That Didn’t March Online Profile

I was disappointed in the condition of the beach house. There was evident damage from Hurricane Beryl such missing shingles, a hole on the upper side if the roof siding, a big hole in the screen and a portable AC unit was installed in master bedroom. I sent email to owner before scheduled visit asking about beach house condition and she replied that there was no damage. I felt that the above items listed present a safety violation and want a refund but the owner refused. I have pictures to submit as proof of damage and plan to discuss what th Better Business Bureau.

Another wonderful stay

My husband and I wanted to get away from our busy lives and decided to go back down to stay at the Crystal Wave before school gets out. This was our 3rd stay at the home and everything was just great, as it’s always been!

Thanksgiving at the Crystal Wave

Our family of 6, 2 couples, 2 singles, all adults, stayed for 3 nights to celebrate Thanksgiving.We really enjoyed the location. The house was beautiful with wonderful decking and lots of windows. We had some problem with starting the dishwasher but was helped in a timely manner by our gracious host. Our only complaint was that the 4th bedroom just didn't work for a full sized adult. The bunk beds would be great for kids though. Overall, we really enjoyed being out at Crystal Beach!

Getaway at the beach

My parents, my husband and I and our three dogs stayed at this beautiful residence. The view is breathtaking and amenities impeccable. I particularly appreciate the fact that our four legged family members were allowed to stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better time!

Great location

The property was in overall good condition and clean. We had a perfect view of the ocean from the deck as well as from multiple rooms within. There was easy, quick, walkable access to the beach from the front door. The house itself was well appointed and met all our needs. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Amazing location!!

Lovely porch to enjoy the ocean breeze, the kitchen has everything that you need to cook any meal. I recommend this house, definitely will be back next year.

Great spot close to the beach

Host was super nice! No problems with the house other than some AC issues, but host installed a window unit in the guest room area which gave us no problems. House is as advertised and no issues at all. Tip: Rent a golf cart from a local place. Most will to delivery/pickup- this is a great way to get on and off the beach right there to the house. Would stay here again! Crystal Beach is wonderful. Highly recommend Donnay's Donuts and The Big Store is right down the road for all your grocery store needs.

Memory making amazing!

The house was great. The walk to the beach was short & convenient. The owner is kind, easy to reach & helpful. We cooked a ton and had plenty of supplies. We loved our time here.

Perfect location for family getaway

We stayed over the July 4th week with our family and it was perfect. Unobstructed ocean view and direct beach access. So peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of room for all of us and they provided everything we needed. We came prepared but if you forgot anything it will be there. Loved this property!

Location, location, location!

Loved the location of this beach home. The location and access could not have been better. Loved the huge porch, the upgrades to kitchen and bath. The owner was onsite at check in, personally inspecting a minor issue with the A/C and made sure it was handled quickly.

First Famly Beach Trip

We brought our 2 adult kids and their families and had the best time. This home is beautiful and the floor plan, with separate guest bedrooms and bath, was awesome! Large corner lot and steps from the beach! This home is simply, glorious!

Great house, awesome location, well-stocked

This is a great house with prime location on the beach. It comes fully stocked with several pleasant surprises, compared to some of the other Galveston/Bolivar area VRBOs we’ve stayed at: kitchen pans and tools in great condition, shampoo, body/hand soap, nice supply of paper goods, towels/beach towels/nice linens. The indoor stairwell is awesome if you have dogs like we did, in that you’re not having to worry about gate latches, etc. The split layout with breezeway separating the main sleeping areas is a great idea for multi-family stays. We loved it here and would come again!

Family Vacay

Our kids from Washington flew in and stayed with us. My 80 year old father as well. We had an exceptional time. Everyone enjoyed the beach, and the decks were amazing. We brought two very large german shepherds with us, and the only down fall for them was having to be leashed at all times. We would recommend it to others and will look for it in the future. Thanks for loaning us your home, we loved it!
