It definitely feels like staying in someone’s home rather than a commercial short term rental. There are homey touches, like having spices and oil available. There were also details that seemed like unexpected oversights- no coffee, no liners in the trash cans, no water in the water dispenser, no firewood, no washcloths. The positives... the location is great (walking distance to Killingsworth restaurants & bars and Peninsula Park), at the same time it is a nice & quiet neighborhood, the main king bed is very comfortable, wifi is solid, large capacity washer & dryer is available and worked well, and the house has more than enough room for a long-term stay. The downsides... privacy is lacking as the house has big front windows with minimal window coverings, the living room furniture is not particularly comfortable (particularly the couch), there were a few key items that are lacking in the kitchen (only two towels, no microwave), the refrigerator is on the small side (fine for a short-term stay, but limited for a longer stay) and we had some recurring issues with ants throughout the stay (though the owners were very communicative & responsive to address this). Overall, we had a good stay... and it was a great value. Would recommend for short-term stays. It was solid for longer stays, though a few improvements would have made it much more comfortable. ##### Greg Z.
