Hotel es muy bonito. La habitación era hermosa. Solamente le falta mejorar el entretenimientos. La barra de la.piscina cierra muy temprano. Poca duracion la musica..

Very Nice hotel - Really enjoyed our stay

Pros: Lovely beach, nice quiet pool and beautiful sea views
Cons: The bar did run out of some premium spirits (Disaronno & Malibu) which didn't get replaced for a few days however the lobby bar did have everything.
Location: Didn't venture too far from the hotel.
We stayed within the Preferred Club area of the hotel which we would highly recommend. It was quieter than the larger section of the hotel with its own pool and very attentive bar staff. Also, you can get your breakfast & lunch at the beach grill restaurant which is seated dining with beach views. Lovely experience and no buffet que. We mainly ate at the beach grill but did try the italian restaurant also. The food standard was very good with a good selection of different meals. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The entertainment team were outstanding, particularly Eddy! The staff did everything they could and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxed to ensure we had everything we needed.

Adult inclusive on great beach

Pros: The beach and amenities they provided there. The pool was large and extended. It was not a massive resort so, you could easily navigate it.
Cons: The quality of food and variety at each location for dinner. The buffet was actually very good for breakfast.
Location: The resorts are out of town. You are limited to resort unless you take a taxi or tour. The shopping is not good.
Adult resort connected to sister family resort so you had more options for food and entertainment. It never felt crowded and beach was beautiful. Always a chair to spare on each or by pool. Very limited shopping. Bring everything you need. Room was very pleasant and comfortable with hot tub on outside deck, which we never used. Room service was responsive when you left instructions and tip. Otherwise you never knew what items would be refilled. There was no fan in bathroom. All the rooms were a bit musty because of it. The shows were entertaining. Having the sister resort gives you needed options for dinning.

Expensive all-inclusive on the beach

Pros: The lazy river pool, the beach, the grounds.
Cons: Figure out how to ventilate the bathrooms and rooms better. Maybe put screen doors on the sliding glass doors so you can let in some fresh air.
Location: We started our trip in Santo Domingo at the Hostal Nicolas Ovando, it was lovely! Santo Domingo was perfect for a day trip or a couple of nights.
The setting and location right on the beach in Punta Cana were great. The lazy river swimming pool was a pleasant surprise, it was nice to be able to sit in the pool and be in either shade or the sun. Unfortunately the pool closes at 6pm! It was a beautiful beach, you just needed to avoid the people trying to sell you cigars and excursions. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. The drinks were watered down, but free flowing. The service was okay, but was a bit sexist, always looking to the man to decide. The rooms were big and spacious. The biggest issue we had was the distinct smell of mold/mildew in our room. We asked the concierge for some assistance, and twice were told she'd send some one right up. A couple of hours later, still no one showed up. We went back to the front desk, and my wife demanded another room. She left, came back and spoke to me, offering another room, the last room available. We asked to see it first. It smelled worse than our room, so we stayed in the original room. They did "ambiance" the room which added a pleasant smell to try and cover up the odor. We were there for a wedding so we had the opportunity to visit three other rooms, and they all had the same smell. We understand they are in a humid climate, but they do not have proper venilation and HVAC. There is not a fan in the bathrooms! We were just expecting a little more for the price and 4.5 star rating.

We would like to clarify that the pools close at six because it is since that hour when there chemicals are applied to clean it and it is not advisable to be at the water. As you comment, due to our weather we tend to have high levels of humidity, which increase due to the rich fauna around our hotel. Great options for pool and beach!

Pros: Pool options Outstanding butter service (Marcelo) you can request him when you check in!
Cons: Food & beverage options Had to go to Now Larimar Carnival buffet for decent breakfast option Seaside grill is lovely for morning but limited menu
Location: Great options for water sports.
The resort is quite large when combined with the Now Larimar options. We did a ton of walking which can be considered good or bad depending on your preference. Best thing about resort are the variety of pools and lazy river to choose from with the beach. Outstanding service from our butler, Marcelo, is the preferred club. He made a point to find us multiple times throughout the day regardless of weither we were at a poll or the beach. Truly exceptional service and care. Food and beverage were quite disappointing. We enjoy champagne with every meal on holiday and the choice was horrible. If you wanted a quality prosecco, you have to pay for it ( and your "resort coupons" cannot be confined to cover the cost, so basically it costs the tax. Avoid the sales pitch at all costs. We wanted to learn more about the vacation club, and a 1 hour breakfast because a 3 hour hard sales pitch. The manager, Milano, was insulting when he suggested what would happen if my boyfriend & I broke up during the life of the contact. Incredible. Though our butler made the experience delightful, we will be heading back to Iberostar Grand in Janaury so we may enjoy champagne with every meal, and lobster at no additional cost!
