“Friendly staff and lovely food.. maybe one of the best steaks ever tasted. Room was large and well equipped. Over looked the beer garden but no noise after 10 so that was fine. Small car park to the rear but ample for the guests. Hoping to stay here again. ”

“No WiFi - and thin walls, noisy at times but staff and food beyond amazing - upside surprise on food and staff couldn't be more helpful. Rooms are small. Beware when they have weddings not to be in front of venue - very noisy ”

“Arrived close to closing time and was warmly greeted by publcan, staff and pub regilars. Felt safe and was well fed at breakfast time. Nice to hear other guests talking about their intended visitsof the day. Publican helpful with my additional enquiries and offered suggestions of taxis to get to and from a venue.. Lovely lunch eaten after checking out. Beer Garden well looked after and village was nice to wander around with further walks suggested, if required. The place is cared for. Would go……

Located a bit away from the city centre, the hotel's deco, ambience and service were comparable to a 5-star hotel. We were particularly impressed by the service of Ali, proactive, considerate and detailed to meet our needs, even the unspoken. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and found them enjoyable. ”

“The property is in a remote position but ideal for accessing everything the Cotswolds offers by car. Warm welcome and service and the breakfast is one of the best we have ever had. Will definately rebook when we visit the area again. ”
