"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Facilities were comprehensive too with a well stocked gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing area. A great place to stay."

"The room had a gorgeous view of the river. But for the price point the bathroom and room amenities were disappointing (no coffee maker, no mini fridge, bathroom had one of those tubs with no glass or curtain so water got everywhere when you showered). Location is great. But was disappointed by the room, despite the gorgeous view."

"Having pre booked Hotel Car park we were put in a Public car park across the road, this is not the Hotel car park. Breakfast ok but lacked topping up of bread, cold meats, hot food eg scrambled egg etc basically empty. Having paid hotel cost of parking we then found couldn’t exit the car park without paying another 11 euros. Hotel reception only refunded us with 8 euros should have been 11 ( didn’t realise at the time ) Obviously small amount difference but very irritating!!!!!"

"The location is located right in front of a bus stop if you opt to use public transportation. Even though I didn’t use a vehicle, it did appear to have great parking location for guests and a great ambiance place to enjoy. Not far from everything the city has to offer and explore. "The room we had was very clean and very comfortable with large lockers. The location is great because it’s only about a 10 minute walk to the center of the city, to the Hotel de Ville (City Hall). There’s a very nice courtyard just off of the reception and bar area which is a great place to meet. The staff was really nice and very helpful so we thank them very much. The buildings in the area have a lot of graffiti, so at first it seemed a little sketchy. But it felt fine once we got acquainted with the area around the hostel. One thing to note: if you have a car, parking is very difficult and very expensive (55 Euros/day street parking, and 43 Euros/day for garage parking). I asked ChatGPT to tell me where there is free parking, and it said the ninth district has free parking on the street, so you’ll have to walk about 10 to 15 minutes. But you will save money."
