"We had hoped this place would be more like a jungle lodge but it really was more of a rural neighborhood house on the main thoroughfare. The family cabin seemed a lot more like a blah Airbnb. Wasn't too clean but wasn't disgustingly dirty. Just didn't feel like it was worth the amount we paid or really worth it at all. You could not walk to monkey falls from there. To go anywhere you would need a car, which we had, fortunately. The front door didn't have any bolt. And the A/C only worked in the rooms leaving the shared living space blazing hot even with trying to flood the living space with air from the rooms. The owner was super nice but this place just wasn't worth it. We stayed in a dumpy cabin at another place in town that turned out to be a better fit for us than this. "
