The downtown is not too far but not really an easy walk away so you’ll need transportation like a taxi or car. The rooms are well priced and tour guides know it’s location so can accommodate direct hotel transfers. The room was clean and spacious compared to other places I stayed while in Belize. The bed was comfortable and the water was plenty hot with good pressure. There was both a fridge and safe in the room, neither of which worked. The room felt a bit dated as well. None of this was a deal breaker, particularly since I was only there a night, but the rating suffers a bit for it. This hotel was situated right near the highway which made it a perfect stop on my way back from visiting Tikal. It's not in the center of the San Ignacio business district, but in a relatively quiet suburban feeling neighborhood. There is off-street, relatively protected, parking but keep in mind that you are competing with restaurant customers for that parking. I ended up eating dinner elsewhere that night and got lucky to pull in when someone was pulling out. Otherwise I may have been stuck waiting for a spot or finding parking on the street. It’s close enough to the town center that we walked there. The service was very good. The food at the restaurant was excellent.
