We also used the pool, the gym and the garden, which were all first grade. The best part, at least for us, is the location. Very reasonably priced for such a five-star experience. The staff were professional and friendly. The facilities were top-notch. It has a really luxurious feel, and is only minutes from the airport and the National Park. It is also a five-minute walk to the outstanding bird park and the new aquarium. The grounds and the pool area are so beautiful and well-maintained. Obrigado to everyone at Sanma Hotel. This was an excellent place to stay. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I could easily stay a week at this remarkable hotel. It achieves that in some areas while others are lacking. Breakfast is a highlight esp. with a small a al carte menu at the table and champagner. Staff was mixed. Some really forthcoming and some clearly disinterested. For me the main issue though is a certain lack of maintenance although maybe that is being tackled at the moment with renovations going on in the hotel.
