Good location, affordable price, decent condition. Bed is old but A/C blows cold and shower has strong pressure. We stayed here to see a show at the Santa Barbara Bowl and the venue was within walking distance, safe part of town. I’d stay here again for an overnighter.

I concur with other reviews walls are thin and can hear your 'neighbors'. Agree about the metal enclosure around the bottom of the beds you bump/kick it & its super loud. Large rooms great front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

Good choice for the price
The staff was very friendly, helpful and prepared to answer all our questions about the area. The hotel itself is basic, but you get what you pay for. Clean, quiet and neat. I would return here. We did not use the pool due to cool temperatures.

Noisy but nice staff
The noise level of the halls (people talking) was very loud. Also, a homeless person started collecting Recycling at 5:00AM. The room was clean but very stark.

Check in was easy and quick, and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, roomy and modern. Only complaint was the walls were on the thin side, could loudly and clearly hear the people in the adjacent room which had the door to allow to share both rooms. The walls are too thin. Location is great, not far from downtown Sta Barbara, the mission, McConnela Ice Cream which is a local favorite.

I never actually stayed here but the front desk clerk was nice enough to give me a refund because she could not find the room I wanted. Awesome hotel for that, sometimes the hotel will not provide a refund even if you have a valid reason but this hotel truly cares
