"We had a great stay here from December 15 to January 9. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained. We received fresh linens and bedsheets every Monday, which was a really nice touch. Communication with the host was super easy and smooth throughout our stay. The location is excellent, close to everything, though if you’re walking, be prepared for a steep hill from the main road — consider it a built-in workout! Overall, a wonderful stay and we’d definitely recommend it."

"It was the first time in Madeira and it won’t be our last! The apartment was very spacious for our family of 5 and the views from the balcony were amazing. We ate out there for every meal. The weather was perfect, warm and sunny in the day and cooler at night. The area is beautiful with plenty of seafood restaurants over looking the ocean and walking the promenade for miles. And finally the pool and bathing area of the complex were wonderful with the amazing views of the Madeira’s landscape!"

"We cannot say enough about how much we loved our stay. The breakfast and spa were exceptional. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. We loved our turn down service with the little surprises- really was a nice touch! Staff at Briso do Mar and Villia Cipriani were both great and gave us good suggestions. "The Melia Medeira was a beautiful hotel! The pool was lovely and clean, they had nice entertainment in the evening and the front desk staff were very attentive and a great source of information as needed. The bar tenders were also super!! The room itself was very clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. If I had to say anything as a form of help, my suggestion would be to update the washrooms. The entire hotel was so nice, but the washrooms felt dated and the shower was not great. Otherwise, we had a great stay at the Melia."

"We made a last-minute booking at this hotel. We would have preferred a room for our entire party but at such short notice this wasn’t possible. The rooms we were given were spacious and clean. It’s very convenient for the airport bus and the red route of the City Bus Tours. A great location with several supermarkets and dining options. One of our party had a birthday and we were given a bottle of sparkling wine, which was a really lovely touch. Thank you!"
