Terrace Mar is a wonderful place in a great location. The bed was super comfortable, kitchen was functional and having a balcony was great. Breakfast buffet was superb. Staff were very friendly. The rooftop pool was great with awesome views of Funchal. It was one of our favourite places to stay. Highly recommended

Terrace Mar was a great hotel to stay a week visit in Madeira. Very easy to walk, catch a bus or taxi. Eduardo and Renato at the front desk was very accommodating. Fatima made an amazing breakfast. We loved the rooftop pool and hot tub.

The breakfast was quite varied and tasty. The rooftop pool has nice views and great for sunning and relaxing . Lots of choices for nearby walkable restaurants. Easy, close access for bus transit to Centro.

Lovely hotel in Funchal

The Terrace Mar was a great choice for iur four night stay in Funchal. It is located in a inice area,with plenty of restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. The airport bus stop is just around the corner, which was really convenient. We booked a junior suite,which was huge,with everything we needed,a lovely bathroom ,Kitchenette and balcony with a sea view. The roof top pool was small, but really nice and heated,along with the jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the Sauna was not available during our stay. All the staff were wonderful,even providing a lovely cake for my birthday as a surprise! We had an amazing break and would definitely stay again.

Awesome rooftop pool and view towards the sea. Location was also a great location for walking into central Funchal and had bus links too. For any tours booked it’s in the catchment area for hotel collection at least we found anyway. Breakfast was great too!

This property was wonderfully located for access to shops, bars, restaurants and old town - all walkable. Everything was as described and the pool was heated to comfortable heat. The only downside to staying here is the intermittent wifi access which was frustrating at times.
