"Right on the water, great for all ages. Moon shadow is a beautiful cozy place to stay any season. Has everything you need to enjoy the lake and the surrounding wilderness. Private and peaceful. I would suggest and awd or 4wd vehicle for the drive up and down especially if youre not accustomed to driving a mountain road or trails as the road to the lodge is steep and narrow in some sections. The host was wonderful and answered any questions immediately. Definitely one of the best host ive experienced."

"The house was very spacious and we had plenty of room for our 4th of July weekend with family! Great location! It's very close to the lake - we used Fairfield Bay Marina. It's also centrally located to the grocery! The back porch was definitely our favorite place to sit in the mornings and evenings after coming in from the lake! The view and property was so pretty! The main house staff was super friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I would have would be updating/upgrading the master bedroom mattress and bedding. The master bed is a 1 star. The mattress wasn't very firm(our backs were feeling it) and the sheets and bedding are low quality and sheets wouldn't stay put on the mattress. Other than that - 5 stars! We hope to come back again!!"
