Dogwood Motel

Dogwood Motel

8/10 Good
"Very clean for an older motel. We really enjoyed the pool! The only complaint was the AC didn't cool the room as much as desired. It worked but it felt just a little warm in the room. But it was the end of July and almost 100 degrees outside. Other than that it was a nice affordable place to stay."

"Amazing place to stay. Stayed there for a combined bachelorette/bachelor trip (9 people). Host were very helpful, forgot to give some of the group the code to get in and was out hiking with no service and they were able to get help in. Only recommended I have is having a few more trash bags and toilet rolls paper available."

10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay at this tiny house in the woods! We had 4 adults and 4 kids, and surprisingly, there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was cozy, comfortable, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after our days of exploring. One of our favorite parts of the entire weekend was getting to tour the owners’ ranch. We almost skipped it, but we are SO glad we decided to go! It ended up being such a cool experience, especially for the kids. We got to feed some really cool animals, we really enjoyed getting to see the ranch and meet the animals up close. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole stay felt peaceful and special. If you’re looking for a unique getaway where you can unplug, relax, and make some great memories with your family, we definitely recommend staying here. We are absolutely coming back!"

"Dorothy at the front desk was great both checking in and out. She also went beyond usual by helping us out by providing us with coffee and creamer which we didn't bring with us. Also, the reasturant food for dinner was excellent and lived up to our expetations. While the cabin was 'rustic' it was very clean and comfortable. We will be back."

Nicole and Trent were wonderful hosts, they provided clear check-in instructions and shared excellent recommendations for things to do in the area.
