"It was great to return to the Fairfield area. This house is in an excellent location, close to the lakes & preserves. The address now brings you directly to the driveway via gps. A few years ago that wasn’t the case. The only critters I saw in the house weren’t cringeworthy at all, a cricket & a ladybug. It would have been nice to have access to ice or even a tray that I could fill & freeze. I would definitely return again!"

"Pamlico Cottage is a little slice of heaven. Our family and pups spent Thanksgiving at Mary's home. She did a great job furnishing and decorating with beautiful antique pieces. We loved the fireplace, spending time on the enclosed backroom and taking in the breathtaking views of the Pamlico River. The sunsets are unbelievable! Our son enjoyed fishing off the dock with the fishing poles that are provided. Seamless check in/out process. The kitchen is fully stocked and she even included napkins, paper plates/towels, garbage bags, condiments.... Beds were comfortable and there's plenty of linens. Our family would definitely love to visit again. Thank you for opening your home to us. "
