“My daughter and my niece and me booked this for two of the nights on our girls trip to see the bluebonnets. This place is so inviting and comfortable we did not leave to go out for dinner. Brought our own food in so we could enjoy both evenings sitting round the fire pit. The place was clean, neat, and had all the amenities one would need. Easy to get to from town. I would book again.”

“WONDERFUL rustic cabin in a rural area of Texas Hill country. We stayed in the “German Chocolate” cabin for 4 nights during the solar eclipse and throughly enjoyed our stay. Easy 2 mile drive to Fredericksburg. Lovely baked goods waiting for us on our arrival, plus Sophie’s Bakery is right down the road where additional goodies are available! Would definitely stay here again!”

“Cute barn, but was 10 feet off the Highway & was a big noisy. Owners were working on property 10 yards from the glass front door so privacy wasn’t great. no ice/ ice cube trays or bottled water. Interior walls are very thin so the sound really carries ”

The bed and pillows are like sleeping on a cloud and the A/C works really well. There were only 2 cons to our stay. 1. Be careful in the shower as there is no happy medium between the hot and cold water. 2. I'm not sure if it's where the wifi router was located but the internet was barely fast enough to work the smart TV much less my laptop for work...but if……

“The cabin was adorable and had a great location. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and enjoying the seclusion and nature. However, there is no kitchen like advertised, and we had hoped to cook a few meals. There was just a microwave and refrigerator. We opened the microwave to find a very old loaf of banana bread shoved inside!! Gross! Also the bathroom is not quite a bathroom. There is a toilet in a closet with a door that wont close if you are in there. It was functional and the……

“My husband and I go to Fredericksburg fairly regularly, yet somehow had not stayed here yet. We absolutely loved it! Our cottage was at the back of the property, behind which was a nice grassy area in front of a stand of trees. There were multiple fire pits with chairs. We did not make use of those, but it was a lovely space and made us feel more relaxed just knowing there was a “backyard” if we wanted to sit out on our little porch or use a fire pit.
