"This was a beautiful hotel with a kind and very attentive staff. Breakfast was superb and location was magical. And one day, after I had asked that the maid only do the bathroom (but she ended up doing the bed too as well as my clothes…which I didn’t want), the staff sent me a bottle of their amazing Port wine and delicious nata desserts as an apology. I loved this hotel! "

"The staff were welcoming and helpful carrying my heavy suitcase up 100 stairs to the top apartment!! It was clean, comfortable and roomy and had a great outlook over the city. Lovely stat"

"Great room. Comfy bed, large, worth paying extra for balcony and river view. Good location. Service was average. Check in slow and not acknowledged for a long time. Lifts slow and bar not much atmosphere. However overall good experience and would stay again. "
