“Good in many respects but our timing was bad. Apparently spring is the time when sargassum weeds move in. The beach at the property (and anywhere on the north and east side of whole island was unusable). They clean things up but it takes a few days and we never even got to walk on the beach. Housekeeping could be more prompt (they tried to make it up after I complained). Property in general was good but for the price paid I am not sure it is best value.”

“Beautiful location and has so much potential but it’s poorly run. Staff doesn’t want to be there and it shows. Not even a Good Morning. Same food everyday, no variety. No availability at restaurants even with diamond club. Total waste of money there. Stray cats and cockroaches at your feet. Pest control lets themselves into your room to spray without knocking. Oh and when you check-in be prepared to wait until way out check-in for your room. Then when you go to your room, you find out that other……

“The only disappointments was there no beverages in the room and very limited access to the specialty restaurants. The view was great as was the weather. Room was nice. Great choice in pools if you’re willing to walk. Resort is somewhat remote. Most of staff were very friendly. ”

“The property is in a lovely location, very quiet a a peaceful - you really need a car as nowhere nearby to get supplies, it’s basic, but immaculate and with everything you need. Sharon was very helpful, but we sadly we were unable to meet Gabriela and Douglas on this occasion, we had read such glowing reviews about them. (I hope you are feeling better, and hopefully we may get to come again and meet you). Deep bay is a 20 min walk and is just gorgeous. ”
