"My family and I love staying here! My husband, my kids and I booked this house during our skiing trip to Gore Mountain. The house is very spacious. Heat was amazing and it kept us very warm and comfortable during the trip. Kitchen is big and spacious. Bathrooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable. The house is a few mins walk to the lake which was a nice fun activity for my kids. There are sleds for my boys to use and have fun with outside. There’s a general store next door but it was closed during our stay. The house is 25-30 mins away from Gore Mountain which we didn’t mind. Neighborhood was quiet which we liked. And the owner was very communicative and was quick to reply our questions. Overall we had an amazing stay!"

"This is a brand new property and we appreciated a lot of works and efforts the host Steve has put in to make this cottage so lovely. Communication with Stave was also smooth; check in was very easy and Steve went an extra mile to let us get in the cottage safely through the garage due to the snow. The place was exactly as pictured, and was large enough for our family of three to spread out when everyone needed a quiet time (with well working wifi). The loft and the guest bathroom were perfect for our teenage daughter to keep her privacy. The Kitchen was a bit small but well equipped and stocked with basic necessities. Steve left plenty of bottles of water on the counter and in the fridge for us, so we could keep hydrated. Bathrooms were nice and clean, soaps and shampoos/conditioners were provided. The bed was very comfortable and gets very toasty with that super plushy blankets (us ladies loved it)! Also the cottage was located near everything; Gas station, restaurants and stores were all within 5-10 minutes driving distance from the cottage, and Gore Mountain was 25 minutes away. The lake and mountain view from the balcony was gorgeous. We took a stroll down to the lake too. Would love to come back in summer to enjoy the water."

"Pondbrook was fantastic for our after Christmas ski trip to Gore with two families. An easy drive, close to Gore but yet a cabin in the woods with lots of outdoor areas to enjoy and explore when not skiing. Heated mudroom with tons of hooks for all the ski gear. Very cozy and charming but spacious and tons of room to spread out. The upstairs was kid heaven and the adults had some peace and quiet downstairs. Very clean and well stocked with everything you would ever want. Even the sheets were high quality and enjoyable. Owners were super easy to communicate and very responsive and helpful."

"It’s not fancy, but it is homey and warm, which is all we needed. As a large family, it can be difficult to find a place to stay while skiing that is not expensive. This house was perfect. The well-stocked kitchen and provided linens made packing and our stay run smoothly. The owner responded quickly to my inquiries. Would stay here again!"

"10 of us spent Thanksgiving weekend here. It was super cold outside so we spent most of the time indoors. We lived in the game room. So much fun. Larry was great. He was super prompt and courteous in responding to our questions and the house is filled with notes, maps, recommendations etc. We are very glad we chose to stay here."

"The cabin is beautiful and suited all 10 of us perfectly -- enough space to sleep comfortably. Great dining area to entertain and enjoy each other's company. Having a space for a boat to be docked was very convenient. The hosts were very responsive and kind. Have ZERO complaints. Hope to stay there again in the future!"
