We have stayed here a couple times now and it is now our new go-to. Nice quiet location buffet breakfast was decent. Beds were comfy. We loved the little added perks of cookies and smoked salmon chowder at check-in.

Right on the Main Street of Seaside. Backing onto the river. Great location. Park your car and walkable everywhere. Pool and jacuzzi were always occupied.

I can’t begin to say how wonderful this property was the epitome of a well operated resort the front desk staff were knowledgeable and friendly every morning we had a wonderful complementary breakfast the lobby was warm and cozy with complementary infused water, coffee and tea all day in the afternoon they had complementary cookies and at 5:00pm the had complementary smoked salmon chowder our room was clean with comfy beds and a nice touch terry robes our room had a balcony with a view of the river the property was perfectly located in walking distance to the beach restaurants and shops I would highly recommend this property and would always go back for our stays in Seaside Oregon

Love the location of this hotel. The staff were friendly and they had free salmon chowder when we checked in. My son said it was the best soup he’s ever had!! It was delicious!!

Room was a little questionable in terms of cleanliness. I saw a maggot crawling in the bathroom, I understand it’s an old building but it definitely could use some more love. Staff who checked us in were super friendly though, added a +1 point for me for sure.

Very clean room, bathroom, refrigerator, closet, and hotel. The staff were very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The breakfast was surprisingly really good and fresh. The view (river side) was very nice. Thank you and will be back again . Highly recommend!!!!

This was our first day at The Katherine and because of that I was a little apprehensive, but once we got there and saw the hotel and talked to the front desk people we were amazed and the location is really nice and accessible to stores and restaurants, and you’re not too far from Cannon Beach if you plan to go there. And a good restaurant in town is Finn’s.
