I'm a diabetic and had some blisters on my feet that ended up becoming sores. So any boating or water activities was out for us. However, we made the best of the situation and enjoyed our stay at this place. It was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Quaint usually has negative connotations, but I think it describes the place perfectly. It's old Florida charm.……

“The property itself is nice!!, pine walls and floor cabin with lots of space, screened in seating areas, big oak and pine trees everywhere with hanging Spanish moss, really nice scenery, lots of land in back of property ( +30 wooded acres ) with trails for walking and off-roading if you bring your bikes, as well as a lake to fish in. There are some farm animals ( cow, goats, chickens, ducks, geese) as well as wild animals ( we saw a fox, racoons, squirrels) The property grounds need A LOT of……

“This home was INCREDIBLE! The house was well stocked and Paul thought of every detail. My family and I were same to enjoy sunsets swims in the lake and sunrise kayaking in the morning. It was so peaceful and Paul was easy to communicate with, as well. We would highly recommend this space!”

“Perfect ,quiet getaway . Spent three weeks at Marni's place and she could not have been a better host. House was very clean and any questions we had were answered very quickly. I brought my boat and went fishing several days with so many lakes to choose from 15 minutes away I couldn't begin to try all of them. If we come back to Lake Placid we would be back at Marni's place.”
