"The pictures do not do this property justice. Book this place now, you won’t regret it! There is not much in this area to go and do but we just wanted 2 days away from EVERYTHING so it was perfect! Would also suggest 4 wheel drive to get to the location. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be returning."

"Friendly goats to feed, happily behind the fence. Close to the track , secluded feel. I wish we had more time we would have used the fire pit in the backyard . Easy to enter easy to communicate with the host. One of my favorite things was the guest book. Would definitely recommend and return. "

"we really liked the privacy of the cabin we only saw 1 person our entire time at the property we also liked the overall appearance of the cabin I also enjoyed the firepit the only negative was the power was out all day and night in banner elk so we lost our dinner reservation for Saturday night but you can't control mother nature "

"This house is so nice! We loved sitting on the deck and listening to the river flow by. It was so peaceful and just what we needed. The house was very clean and well maintained. It was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. We did lots of fishing and town is minutes away with lots of great food to try.We will definitely be staying again. "It was a perfect cozy cabin with a great view of grandfather mountains. Very steep driveway to get to cabin since it’s on top of its own “hill” my little car did great… however if you are there during winter months the driveway could get tricky. Quiet area and perfect neighbors. "
