Here we are at 6:38 am, and the review wants words. Greeted upon arrival, room was ready. Very nice old building....situated at the top of the hill. There are a lot of options for dining nearby. This concludes my words.

Quick Trip!

Just an overnight stay, but this restored old building is absolutely beautiful! Very comfortable, very convenient to the Top of the Marc restaurant next door.

Beautiful

We stayed here for a night after moving up to STL as our friends were hosting a St. Patrick's day party. The bed killed my hips and back, it was really firm, but that's with most hotels. The front desk manager was very kind and let us check in early. The interior and the hallways are beautiful, keeping the historic architecture. It's in the perfect spot downtown to walk to all your favorite little shops.

Extremely helpful and kind. I have 3 small children and it can be a lot traveling with them sometimes due to accommodations. However the staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. There’s no room service but a lot of dining options walking distance from the hotel. Definitely recommend!

Would have given this hotel 5stars if there hadn’t been an incident with a person at our window (we were street level) at 2am, clearly on drugs and himself not ready for sleep. Though this was not the hotels fault, the front desk had to call the police, and no one followed up after all was said and done. The room was lovely, the bed & bedding comfortable, nice big space with large shower. Did not eat here. Front desk check in was easy. Parking easy. Short overnight stay.

Parking is sketchy. Either on the curb or in a nearby parking garage. Did not feel vehicle/contents were all that safe..... Light not working in room. Only one staff member ever seen.

The advertisement of fully handicap accessible rooms is not true. Getting a room with a walk-in shower with a seat, even though it was listed as available, was complicated. The hotel staff did their best but we moved to three rooms before there was something and it was not The room listed as available. Also it was the only room that had the accessible shower with a seat.
