The rooms and facilities are heated both for business meetings, travelling business people, and single and family travellers as well. The continental breakfast is the best I’ve seen! Room heaters and air conditioners are very quiet compared to most other hotel rooms. The off-season pricing was really fair, too, and offered us the best value, period.

Our stay was very disappointing. We were with a team and it is probably best if this hotel does not participate in hosting teams as they were very rigid and not very welcoming. I completely appreciate the need for rules to ensure everyone is safe and to avoid any damage to the building but the approach was a little extreme (ie the coaches bringing the kids for a walk around the building outside was not allowed). Additionally, the services were very much lacking. The garbage was not emptied once during our 3 night stay, we had to get our own towels and toilet paper. On the last night the hotel did allow us to use the lobby space for a team meal and the gentleman that was working was very kind and welcoming. Aside from this (which we really appreciated) I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Very clean and upgraded room! Friendly staff and pretty decent free breakfast! Would highly recommend this hotel if you plan on staying in the area. Good hotel for Notre Dame fans coming to watch a game. The hotel is about a 30 mins drive from the stadium. Well worth it to avoid the traffic and costly hotel prices near the University on game days!

The pool was closed. The keys didn’t work when we checked in and the ice maker on our floor didn’t work. But the staff was very nice and the room was lovely. Comfortable bed, fully updated.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I have built hotels in my career. This hotel was in excellent shape. This particular location was very clean, very well kept, felt warm, very friendly staff, and was a relaxing quiet place. I will stay here again every time I am in the area.

Every single staff member was a complete pleasure!! I actually made some friends here, the food is amazing (get the sausage & churro waffles!). The rooms are always clean and housekeeping is on top of everything! Very accommodating for any traveler, someone looking for a staycation!

Felt very unwelcome from the moment I walked in. Mind you it was New Year’s Eve and I had children with me. I arrived and wasn’t really greeted. No welcome to Hampton how can I help you, etc. I told Jewlianne at the front desk who I was and I was here to check in, she say’s license and credit card, I felt like I was being pulled over by the cops and not checking into a hotel. Then she has a stack of rule sheets in front of me and slaps one down for me to sign, I felt very on edge like we better not make the slightest move or we would be “evicted” then I get on the elevator later to go to my room and they had posted the “rules” for New Year’s Eve there also. We weren’t there to party or do anything of the sorts we just wanted to do something different with our kids on New Year’s Eve and get them out of the house after being cooped up all winter break but the vibes were just so off and we felt so incredibly uncomfortable the whole stay like we had to walk on egg shells during our entire stay. After talking with other guests they were feeling the same way as well! The staff was even bragging in the lobby about their “evictions” for the night at one point when I was down their getting coffee. I Don’t know if I would visit this location again. Very uptight staff, uncomfortable and just not up to par with my prior stays.
