Southeast Texas Chalets

"We enjoyed staying at this chalet. It was really cute. The fenced yard was huge which was great for our 2 dogs. The fishing was great, although the large tree overhanging the water made it difficult to cast in certain areas. (You could see lots of bobbers tangled in the branches. lol) There were some hiccups regarding entry into the neighborhood, but Patricia was very helpful in getting it sorted out. She is very nice and communicative and wanted to make sure we had a great stay. Overall, we had...

"It was a very basic property. The check-in staff were great. Food choices were limited. "

"I really like the location of this hotel. Walking distance to a major park and museums. It is apparently very dog friendly because I saw a lot of dogs during my stay. The only reason I did not give the property 5 starts is because I found the decor to be sort of weird. It’s dark and I’m not sure the vibe they are going for. Maybe Alice in Wonderland meets old Hollywood meets weird art on the walls. But to each their own. "

"We arrived early and were able to get a room immediately, good atmosphere. Great location right in the city with lots of options. Close to rail system and walking distance to the aquarium. Room was small but adequate for our short stay. "
