“Not our normal sort of place to stay but ideal for our circumstances. Lovely facilities and folk staying at the same time. Good self catering shared kitchen though only as we left did we tumble to the fact that Helen had provided some communal consumables in the kitchen - our loss.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Great location central very close to the Jahangir indian restaurant we had booked a meal at. Very clean room, comfy bed, nice shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A nice trolley was in room with coffe, tea facilities and jelly beans and biscuits. Bar looked good and well stocked although we didnt have a drink there as we were going to 40th party after our meal. Its a period building and right up our street, quirky style. Defo has……

Localisation stratégique pour les visite de châteaux alentours (Glamis, Dunnottar, Blair, Braemar) Le soir, à pied, la découverte de la faune forestière est fantastique : chouettes effraies, biches, écureuil, vaches, cochons et chevaux sauvages, et bien sûr : les castors ! “We had a lovely time at the Glen Clova hotel, it's set in beautiful scenery and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and our room was very quiet. Only thing I would ask for is mineral water in the room because both taps in the bathroom were running warm water so we couldn't pour a glass from there.”

“Excellent stay at Silver Birch. The bed was extremely comfy and the tree house was really well equipped and well furnished. Hot tub was lovely to appreciate the views. Only minor points we would make would be the shower was a little disappointing compared to how luxurious everything else was. Also the spiral stairs to the hot tub felt quite loose, not the safest option. ”
