"A bunch of us came from all over the U.S. to meet up here and go to the local flea market. It didn’t have a conference room or larger area for a group to hang out and talk, so we hung out in one of our rooms. Other than that, no complaints."

"I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. My reserved non-smoking room was unavailable due to a water/sewer issue, which would typically be understandable; however, after reading other reviews, it is apparent the water issue is an ongoing problem. Filthy, torn, burnt outdated curtains. Bathroom ceiling covered in mold. Bathtub with noticeable grimy streaks. Large burn spot in bathroom tile. It looked like a beaver had chewed the bathroom door frame. Missing lightbulbs, missing drain plug in shower, which made the tub unusable. I was moved to a non-smoking room, the second day of my stay; however, the sheets from the first night were stripped from one bed and placed on the new bed. I know this for a fact because the original sheets had a cigarette burn hole in them, and the second sheets had the exact same burn hole in the exact same location. I have pictures of both. Horrendous marijuana smell in the stairwell and hallway. Birds flying inside the building in the area where breakfast was served. TV remote was nonfunctional the first night and there was no refrigerator. I could go on…. It is readily apparent there is no money being utilized to maintain the property. The only positive thing I can say is that it was close to my destination. No one should stay at this hotel."

"Located right across from the University of Dayton, I recommend this property. It was my first time in Dayton and at a Marriott property. Amenities were great. Nice to have another breakfast area for us on the 6th floor! The cost is a bit more than I am used to but I was attending a graduation and wanted to be with others. My only issue (a small one) was that while the room was lovely and appeared clean, the carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed. I checked-in around midnight and went right to bed. In the morning, in the light of day, I noticed sock lint and other light colored debris on the carpet and near couch. I bit gross but I just wore slippers."

"Overall, the property seemed clean and maintenance was pretty good. However, the bathroom was not well maintained, and the shower curtain had a lot of stains as did the window curtains. The toilet was of a size for an elementary school and the "couch" or sofa was also low to the ground and not very comfortable. The bed was so high I could barely get into it. Also, the bed base was metal so if you bumped it with your foot it made a very loud noise, and it was noisy with movement in the bed. There really wasn't a comfortable seat in the entire room. The blow dryer didn't work, but the staff promptly brought another one. We couldn't seem to get 2 keys that worked. No body wash for the shower, just shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. I did not try the breakfast. The location was convenient, but very noisy from the freeway. The price was outrageous for this level of hotel. Not a brand I will choose again if I can help it."
