Great place for the Fourth

Great place not far from the main drag. Great place to stay to see fireworks. Kevin was helpful on letting us know what was happening and a good host.

Nice, clean home in an amazing location

My husband and I came up for the car show. We go every year. We could not have asked for a better house or property manager. The house is in the prefect location for hanging out downtown, or just staying in. The house everything we needed and was very clean. We met the owner and his son, who are super nice people. He even had to give us a jump the morning we left, and was just so kind about helping us. If we had ANY questions he was easy to talk to and super helpful. THANK YOU again for letting us rent out your home.

Great location!

The house was just the right size for us. Everything was clean and updated. And the location could not have been better. We did not spend a lot of time at the house, however, because the weather was so beautiful and we had lots to see! It was our first trip to the UP and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely cabin

The cabin was very comfortable. Beds, pillows and linens good, though one bed was a smaller size than expected. No air mattress was available, and no fan for the 2nd bedroom in the non central AC home. Night time temperatures were cool enough fortunately. The dining table and chairs, and especially the wood finished ceiling were wonderful. The room air fresheners were overpowering, and it took more than 12 hours with many open windows to clear the smell. A note through vrbo to the owner on the night of arrival was never answered, and no telephone contact was available. Luckily, one of the adults did not come so the double bed sufficed for the ten year old and an adult.

Quick trip to the UP.

This property is very nice with recent renovations. It was comfortable, well stocked, and a perfect place for our visit to St Ignace.

Just What We Hopes For

We are native Floridians and we have heard so much about the UP of Michigan and it was time to explore:). This house was a perfect starting place. The house was very comfortable with a nice front porch on a quiet road looking down on Lake Huron through the trees. The Main Street is a five minute walk that leads you to the Ojibwa Museum where Marquette is buried…(worth the visit, gardens in the summer are beautiful, don’t miss the metal sculptures west of the church). Easy access to the ferry for Mackinac Island… a must. Highly recommend this house.
