“An old motel updated. Clean, quiet, comfortable with friendly staff and an easy drive to St Ignace.”

“My room smelled like airplane glue, i had a headache for 2 days afterwards. The balcony and sliding patio door had no screen, so i could not open and air out the room. Whoever was recently working in the room seemed to have it open as there were many mosquitos in the room. Breakfast was over run , nowhere to sit, on replenishment, i scooped up some food, the replenished egg and sausage were cold - i went to mcdonalds. the room is a good size, they are in the middle of renovations, the……

“Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat.”

“check in was nice. friendly staff. we brought ferry tickets and they were able to call a shuttle bus to take us to the ferry. we came as a big family. my room was ok but one of the rooms outlets were not working. the pool was clean. breakfast was adequate.”

“Smelly- air fresheners so strong trying to hide the must and mold smell. We left and asked for money back. Ty to front desk for assistance. They also agreed the room was terrible.”

“The lakefront room was newly redecorated and very nice. The shower was hot and good water pressure. The pool was not opened yet (since outside) and the hot tub also was not opened and may not be anymore either. We loved the view of the lake. It was a good view and place to relax with our dog. One note is that the beach was not pristine as the photos - it needed some attention to make it a place to layout and kids to play on beach.”

“I booked this stay after seeing some of the pictures from the website. Really liked the lake front and beach bar never seen other places that have a 24 hour pool. Only thing I didn’t know when arrived that the lobby is at the top of driveway when coming off the street walked back up hill to check in.”
