"This place is a complete dump from the moment you pull up to the property. Pool is in complete disrepair. Had to beg for a parking spot, even though there were plenty of spots available. Elevator didn’t work, had to climb three flights of stairs with our luggage. Room was tiny. Icing on the cake? Termite frass on the bathroom sink. We were terrified to use the bathroom at night because of seeing a termite swarm. Paid $300/night, not worth $100. "

"Booked a room for reggae rise up and upon checking in after the office closed at night It was discovered that the shower would not turn off and had been stuck on hot water for hours. The entire room was a sauna. I was told they had no other rooms. Then a housekeeper went into a room with no lights on and stayed in there for a few minutes and came out saying that they could give us that room which had obviously not cleaned. I was unable to speak to management because they were gone for the night, I’ve left my phone number and started a claim with Expedia to hopefully get a refund but I’ve not been contacted by the property management yet."

"The property needs some serious renovations and paint! Its run down and they dont have enough employees to run this properly. Thr front desk person has to leave a sign that they will be back shortly, when they have to go to the bathroom.or assist a customer that takes them away from the desk. As they only have 1 person working. That one person checks in people for both Super 8 and Days Inn. The same place, with the same rooms. You just pay more when you rent from Days Inn. Trash cans over full everywhere in the halls and the roomss are dirty. Clean beds but dirty rooms also in need of repair. They had hundreds of loose rocks from the rock walkways that some kid threw in the pool. The water was freezing and the walls of the pool had black mold They didnt have help to remove the rocks or clean the dirty moldy pool. It was very under staffed and diirty. We had to leave. It was too dirty for us. Happily the front desk person Jose understood and refunded our money. He couldnt deny any of our complaints! We were nott the only people complaining either! Many thanks to Jose at the front desk, as he was working hard trying to please people that were upset or in need of something. He was the only positive thing that this place had going for them. I would not recommend staying here!"

"The front desk help was rude. My husband called directly and asked if they had any rooms, and she said no! She iidentified herself as the night manager. My husband asked her if she knew any other places she could recommend and she named a few low level places like Super 8 and Days Inn. While my husband was talking to her, he relayed to me what she said when I returned to the car. I said that was odd, because I was just on expedia a little while ago and they had numerous choices of rooms.My husband repeated to her what I said, and then she said well, I have a one for 500. a night. So, I went online and booked a room at the same place for far less. When we arrived she was so rude and acted like we put her out to do her job She sighed heavily and told us to be quiet as we went to our room, perhaps we didn't realize that it was late at night. I never said a word and my husband only told her we had a reservation and his name. It was very unconfortable. Then housekeeping knocked on our door early the next morning! The only positive was the beds were comfortable and our room clean. "

"Had to flush toilet multiple times to get anything to go down-mold as well in bathroom. Elevator was also incredibly slow. Just upkeep things. Staff, breakfast & everything else was great. I was also placed in a room $200 more expensive than expedia quoted. "

"Great staff. Great location right over the bridge to St. Pete’s. Everyone was pleasant, clean pool and just a really nice place to stay. Breakfast was a huge plus and coffee/tea all day and night in the den area. Great place for the money. "

"I love this place, staff is friendly, hotel is beautiful so much character within those walls. My family enjoyed our stay for Reggae Rise Up Music Festival. We will definitely stay here again! "
