Beautiful stone country villa in the hills

"The villa is stunning and I don't think we have ever stayed anywhere so quiet. It exceeded our expectations. The road up to the villa is about 1.5 km and quite uneven but well worth it when you get to the villa. The pool and outdoor facilities were great, there is plenty of space inside and it is great that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Michela was lovely host and we had good communication with Michela before and during our stay and when we had no hot water one morning she very quickly organised a plumber and the problem was sorted within a few hours which we really appreciated. We enjoyed a day trip to Rome and to Abbazia Farfa and a walk to Casoprota, with a lovely bar and useful pharmacy and to Collelungo, both lovely villages to explore and just relaxing at the pool."

"We stayed in the house for two weeks with our 3 children and from the first view at the arrival, we felt more than welcome. We arrived late in the evening due to some car issues, so the landlady could not welcome as in person, but she recorded some videos only for us to explain the most important things before she came then again the next morning to welcome us in person.Everything is furnished and decorated with great care and affection. We found at the arrival welcome presents like homemade Italian baked goods, a recipe for an italian meal including all ingredients as well as some vine.Beside everything you need during your stay in the house, she also put things which you could perhaps need due to you forgot. These little things showed the landlady's great hospitality and made the difference between good and great. We found a small sun cream on top of the towels for the pool, there were some dishwasher tablets, packaged toothbrushes in case you fortgot, citronella candles on the table outside,...The house itself looked as shown on the pictures. Every child took its own room and for five people, the house felt spacious. We enjoyed all the meals on the terrace with its direct connection to the kitchen. As the landlady takes care of the house (new hanging chair to relax at the pool, new grill, ...) she also asked now and then via Whatsapp if everything is fine.In a nutshell, we can highly recommend a stay in the house.(in June, check for some fireflies around the house)"
