“I had a small room on the third floor, but wonderful Fabrice (the host-husband) generously offered to carry my bag. The room was clean and nice. There are many living spaces to enjoy outside the room too. The breakfasts were wonderful and fresh. Most importantly, location, location location. They were excellent communicators and spoke English which was lovely because our French is a bit rusty. “This is a fabulous place with lovely owners. It feels like a quiet oasis. We were there during a heatwave (40 degrees) but inside the rooms felt beautifully cool. We stayed in the museum room which was large, the bed was big and super comfortable. There’s a bath in the room (something my husband really wanted) and I made the assumption that there would be a walk in shower.
