"Room was very clean, lovely amenities, felt very luxurious. Delicious food, musicians at breakfast even! Would highly recommend it to all. Only low score was for eco-friendliness because we have no idea about their environmental considerations, and we were regularly served plastic straws wrapped individually in more plastic, and with Crete being windy the straws and wrappers were flying littering everywhere."

Kuria Mina was an exceptional hostess and very accommodating to her guests' needs. Not to mention a complimentary shot of Raki, a traditional local drink. "We had a great 10 days stay in the hotel. Excellent facilities and a great pool area on the top of the hill. The room was advertised as a swim-up room with a little misleading picture here in Expedia. Instead of the swim-up rooms that share a long pool on the terrace area we lived at the pool site around two buildings with approx 10 room. Actually the better choice as it was very calm, was equipped with sunbeds for e very room and additional canopies. Had a great view towards the sea and the sunset every night. You just need to beware if you expect the same room as shown in the pictures. Great selection of food with different themes every day. Staff was a little slow at times, but still friendly."
