Oregon Coast first timer

Family came together for a long weekend to make some core memories. The home is beautiful and perfectly laid out to give everybody space but bring them back together on the main floor for meals and games. The view from the deck was wonderful and peaceful. The only very minor negative that put a little tarnish on this diamond was the cleaning; some items overlooked but had they not been this would have been a 10 out of 10 place. Note there is construction of new places being built next door and across the street.

Fishing Trip 2024

Very little time spent at house. We’re fishing in Tillamook and crabbing. Only negative, it would be nice if they had ground coffee for the coffee maker.

Terrific family property

We celebrated Thanksgiving at the property with 8 family members. We were together, but also had space for individual quiet time. The table was large enough to seat all of us together for the holiday meals. Overall a great place to celebrate being together

Perfect for our needs!

This house was exactly as advertised: comfortable, clean, with a great layout and lovely ocean view. Another reviewer was bothered that there was no walking path to the beach, but they don't claim to have one, and don't charge the nightly rate that a beach front property would charge. Oceanside is minutes away! We were thrilled to have a big table that seats 8 easily (so many big rentals only seat 6, with extra kitchen island seating), as we came to play D&D all weekend. The second living room downstairs was nice for some separation of space between play sessions. The only criticism we had was that the dining room chairs were pretty old, and the cushions were worn. That said, most people don't go to the beach to sit at the table all weekend, so our standards may be too high. 😂 Thanks so much, we would absolutely stay here again!

Comfy house. No beach access.

The house is very pretty and was comfortable for our group. We were all surprised, and a bit disappointed, to learn there was basically not beach access from the house. You have to drive to find a way to get on the beach. It would be nice if the house had some basics in the kitchen like aluminum foil and zip lock bags. Not a deal breaker, but most vacation rentals we have stayed in have those things, so we didn't pack them with us.

Great house

This house was spacious, clean, amd well equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable beds and furniture, plenty of towels for people and pets, cookware and dishes, and plenty of good quality soaps, shampoos and detergents. Overall the house was in great condition with a lovely peek of the ocean. There was a tiny amount of normal wear and tear in the house, the front door lock needed a repair, and the dishwasher was not properly installed (but still functional). Overall a great place for a family gathering and would stay again.

Christmas at the beach

Overall very nice large home for big family. We had 11 adults and one infant and it was very comfortable. Lots of space for togetherness and to be separated for quiet time. Basics all supplied. VRBO and VACASA apps a bit confusing to figure out and navigate. A bit expensive with all the fees Vacasa tacks on. Should be spelled out up front what home will actually cost per night.

Great house

The overall house setup/layout was perfect. There was an upstairs with living room kitchen hang out area and rooms upstairs. Then downstairs was a great separation for those who wanted more quiet or away from the group having their own living room and mini bar. Everything was updated and clean perfect for a group (we had 9) get away with enough space.

Family getaway to the beach

Home was really cute. Loved all the windows upstairs and the large deck on the back of home. Home wasn't super clean. Too many spiders in garage to play ping pong. Hair in beds. Fireplace and dishwasher didn't work. Someone did come by and fixed the dishwasher, but didn't know how to fix fireplace. Home is close to the beach and a lighthouse, which we enjoyed visiting. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Propane went out. Took two days to get it refilled

Couldn’t use stove or oven or fireplace for Two days of Our stay. Stairs are a bit steep for people with mobility issues. Master bedroom is upstairs along with kitchen and living room. No Fenced yard. Fir pit is very small in the front of the house.

Great location and space

The house is nicely situated close to town and beaches. There’s plenty of space for a family to hang out and still have space alone too. I do have a few complaints to share: the downstairs bed had a bunch of black hairs all over it so we had to change sheets to feel comfortable using it (I think the duvet may have been spreading them??) and there was only 3 spoons to be found in the kitchen, so that made a soup dinner for the family difficult. All in all, a good rental due to location and space but just a few things I’d call out to the property management.

Pleasantly surprised and will book again!

Very clean house with a lot of open space on the main living room/kitchen area. We had 3 families total and we never felt on top of each other. The downstairs area has a couch and a tv where you can have the kids go to while the adults hang out upstairs. There is a small firepit in the front yard. Nothing really special and the landscaping around it isn't very even but its good enough to roast some marshmellows on. The ping pong table was a nice touch. I read some other reviews about some paint chips. There are some paint chips in the cabinets and main kitchen area. Really not that big of a deal. The only other small negative is that you can hear footsteps upstairs while trying to sleep downstairs so put your kids downstairs and as many adults upstairs. Location was great, only a 3-4 minute drive to the main Oceanside beach. There is also a house that sells firewood for five bucks right as you enter the area. There is a bbq grill on the deck and there is an OCEAN which I think is hard to tell from the pictures. It's not full on 180 degrees but it was enough. Deck was also a good size to have a few people sit on. Bathrooms were all really nice. Definetly coming back to this house!

Great place for friends and family!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The sunsets were gorgeous to view from the deck and the beach was only a short drive away. The house had everything we needed and everyone had a wonderful time. My only complaints would be that the dishwasher door was broken and kept slamming down when we opened it and didn't keep the bottom drawer in when loading/unloading. The dining room chairs were also a little iffy. Some were really wobbly and others had no padding left.

Nice house- needs maintenance

The house layout and cleanliness was amazing. Not much in the way of outdoor furniture for the deck cabinets in bathrooms and kitchens desperately need some paint touch up, no serving or mixing bowls either. Do take your own pillows beds are nii ok t very comfortable.

Great in some ways... but greatly lacking in many.

While the house was fine, and met most of our basic needs it was disappointing. It felt ‘beat up’ with cheaper, uncomfortable furniture than what we normally find in a rental vacation home. It felt like an ikea home with cheaper furnishings. There were disappointments... no yard! A very small unkempt space in the back was littered with peanut shells and unusable. The fire pit was disappointing. The lower level shower didn’t work. The lower level TV was not connected, or the game system. A toilet on the upper level was stopped up and we had to fix it - gross. There was no soap in upstairs bathrooms. Kitchen was not as well stocked as we are used to in rental properties. But most disappointing was a deck and no deck furniture except 4 old plastic chairs, one broken, one covered in bird poop. Basically an unusable wasted space that I was most looking forward to. We rent a lot of vacation hones/condos and this was not a favorite & sadly we will not return. My husband had to work to fix things. Oh, and the dryer was full of bedding someone didn’t take care of and garbage was completely full upon our arrival. We loved the house layout and location but overall disappointed, we overpaid for a birthday excursion that fell short of expectations.

Great place

This was beautiful. They now have a great new set of pots and pans. 4 bedrooms. One had a set of bunk beds with the single bunk on top and a double on the bottom. The three bathrooms gave us enough time to get ready. Special surprise was the ping pong table in the garage.

Nice place

Great house! It had a good bedroom layout for our group (3 couples & 3 kids) with one pair of adults in the lower level with the kids, and two more pairs of adults upstairs. Bathrooms for everyone. It was clean and had a nice view. There were a couple of minor issues like the dishwasher seems to be on the way out, and the ping-pong paddles definitely need to be replaced. I think the listing should mention that it is a short drive to the beach. We were hopeful we could walk there from looking at the map, but it's really not feasible. With that said, we had a great time, and would recommend this place to others.
